OSHO

'The Master allows you to come close
and see your face in his mirror.
He does not want you to imitate and become his face. He wants you to look into him. He has no ideas. That means all the dust from the mirror is gone.
His mirror is clean. You can come close and look,
and you will find your face.
The mirror simply mirrors;
it is not a doing, it is not an act.'

OSHO

OSHO is a mantra. The name of a Master that shares his Being, a man awakened to his inner light that touches the heart of many with his energy of love and truth. A voice arousing our dormant awareness and singing the celebration of life in all its apparent contradictions. A hand holding out and offering itself as a constant invitation to set out for a journey towards our original face. Osho for us is all this …and much more! That's why an OSHO Meditation Center in Venice..

A few months before leaving the body he dictated these words that are now engraved on the marble stone covering his ashes:

OSHO

NEVER BORN
NEVER DIED
ONLY VISITED
THIS PLANET EARTH

Osho, who are you?

I am just myself. No prophet, no messiah, no Christ.
Just an ordinary humanbeing... just like you.

Well not quite!

That's true... not quite! You are still asleep...
but that is not much of a difference.
One day I was also asleep;
one day you will be able to awaken.
You can wake up this moment, nobody is preventing it.
So the difference is just meaningless.
A person who is capable of being asleep is capable of being awake.

We were very young in the years when Osho was still in the body and some of our dearest friends and Ki6 group leaders enjoyed his presence by listening to his words and silences in the Buddha Hall where he used to give his discourses every day, teach meditations, tell jokes and dance among them. Yet… they say that when the disciple is ready, the Master arrives, and this happens let alone space and time limitations. Osho and the OSHO meditations are the fragrance of OSHO Ki6 atmosphere and the moving force of all its activities.

'I believe and trust absolutely in existence. If there is any truth in what I am saying, it will survive. The people who remain interested in my work will be simply carrying the torch, but not imposing anything on anyone, either by sword or bread. I will remain a source of inspiration to my people and that is what most sannyasins will feel. I want them to grow on their own. Qualities like love, around which no church can be created, like awareness, qualities which are nobody's monopoly, like celebration, rejoicing, and maintaining childlike fresh eyes. I want people to know themselves, not to be according to someone else, and the way is in.'

Osho

Whenever OSHO was asked to write his autobiography and speak of his life experiences and spiritual path and of what meditation had meant to him, he would always dismiss these questions with a wave of his hand, saying: "Timeless truths are important, not the newspaper clippings that we collect and call 'history' ".
He seldom spoke of himself - only in some rare moments would he introduce some fragments of his life in his five-thousand hours' discourses. The stories he told about himself have been collected in a book called: Autobiography of a Spiritually Incorrect Mystic.
Too many words crowd the web about OSHO - rumours and lies, news and opinions concerning his person, his life and his death, his teachings, his truths. Points of view, evaluations, comments, vows of love and hate, all of them depending on the filter through which the mind finds expression.
What remains is the initiation into silence… all the rest is just clouds chasing after each other in the wind.
